Where is the Great Smoky Mountains National Park?
The 800 square miles between western North Carolina and eastern Tennessee are the official grounds for the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The Great Smoky Mountains (or, in local terms, Smokies) are characterized by the bluish mist covering the peaks and the valleys throughout the year.
