The most wonderful time of the year is right around the corner! And here in Pigeon Forge, we do Christmas better than just about anyone around. If you simply can't contain your holiday cheer a moment longer, there's a lot to get joyful about this week in the Smoky Mountains, just minutes from us here at the Ramada. So get ready to hop in that sleigh because Santa Claus is coming to town!
This Tuesday, November 8th, bring the whole family down to the Smoky Mountain Winterfest Kickoff party at Patriot Park, just a few miles down the parkway. The festivities begin at 4 p.m., but you might want to get there a bit earlier to get a good spot for the lighting ceremony. There will be plenty of games for the kids to start before the Mayor gives a speech to kick off the lighting. Sip on a nice cup of hot cocoa as you gaze at the dazzling Christmas light and firework display, and you'll be sure to be back in the spirit again!
The evening isn't over yet though, After the ceremony, there will be live music and performances from Jimbo Whaley & Greenbrier, Pistol Creek Catch of the Day & the Pigeon Forge Community Chorus.
